Christmas Trap Music: the Peak of all Music and Maybe Even Human Evolution
By: Mohamed Ismail
Like I said in my article on the Christmas season, one of the best things about the season is the music… more specifically, the trap Christmas music. This music has blessed my ears the past few Christmas’ so I thought I would compile a top five list of the best trap Christmas songs to this date. Coming in at the number five spot, I have chosen Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (Trap Remix). Even though this remix is a standup song, because of its slow pace it does not have the versatility of the other songs on this list. At the end of the day, this specific remix is still a classic and will always have a place in my Christmas trap music playlist with an overall rating of 5.75/10. Sliding in at number four is Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree (Trap Remix). The fatal factor that hindered this remix from getting any higher on this list was its lack of replay-ability, something most other songs on this list have. For these reasons I give this remix a 7/10 Taking the number three spot is I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas (Trap Remix). This remix had a bass so kickin’ I almost fell out of my seat. Overall, is a song that will never die in my eyes and will live on to bless future generations. For this reason it comes in at number three. Overall this song is a very respectable 8/10. Jingle Bells (Trap Remix) was selected as number two on my list due to its interstellar bass drop, repetitive lyrics (but in a good way), and its versatility. Overall, I give this trap remix an 9.5/10 and Although it was one of the hardest picks in my life I have placed Jingle Bell Rock Remix (aka A Trappy Christmas) at the number one spot on my Christmas trap music list. A Trappy Christmas is by far the most versatile song on this list. It is not lacking in a strong beat and bass drop, and does not sleep on the classic bells that make the original Jingle Bell Rock such a classic. Not only does work in a party setting, could work as a song to bop to on a drive home from school or work. Overall I rate this song a clean 10/10 and suggest everyone listen to it. Now that I’ve revealed my pics for the best Christmas trap remixes, go bless your ears.
